We are going to Korea!!!

Woohoo!  Praise God!  Bumble is still waiting on his Visa Interview but we were given permission due to personal circumstances to organize our travel - a bit early.  We are so grateful!!!  We are leaving tomorrow night and arriving in Korea on Friday morning (Seoul time!).  As we need to wait on word of Bumble's Visa, our official schedule in Korea is not yet set.  We hope it will be tomorrow morning.  We are anticipating that we will meet Andrew's Foster family and receive him on Monday.  We will have the weekend to acclimate to the time change, get things in order and see a couple sights in Seoul.  We will be returning home next Wed., May 11th.  Our plan is to post pictures and updates here on the blog as we journey to our son!

We are filled with awe and anticipation as we watch the Lord lay out the road before us.  Adoption truly is an amazing work of our Father and we feel so tremendously blessed to be called and entrusted to care for another of His children!  We are busily packing and preparing lists and schedules for my parents who will be staying back here at home with our five other children!

Please keep us in your prayers for safe and smooth travel.  Jon is NOT very fond of air flight - so 17 hours on a plane is not his preferred way to spend a day.  :)  So say an extra prayer for his nerves!  Please also keep in prayer our children at home and lots of grace for my parents as they persevere through caring for our children in our absence.  Our last prayer request is for our sweet Bumble - as this will be the biggest transition of all for him!  Pray for his little heart as he leaves and grieves all that is familiar to him.  Pray for him to be able to make the transition to our family and that his grief will be eased by his Heavenly Father!  We thank the Lord for the foster family that has cared for him over the past 18 months and know they will always hold a dear place in our hearts!
